It’s that time again, ladies and gentlemen! The annual Oktoberfest returns this weekend, celebrating another beautiful season though dancing, great music, plenty of delicious food, and refreshing drinks! Once again, one of the highlights of the celebration will be the Ouray Jeep Raffle, a tradition that’s been going on for more than fifty years!
This year’s Jeep is a gorgeous, silver-tinged 4×4 Wrangler Sport featuring a tow package plus a custom Red Mountains decal. As you might expect, this Jeep is ready to take on the multitude of challenging trails found throughout the majestic San Juan Mountains.
In case you’ve never heard of the Ouray Jeep Raffle, it’s a longtime tradition centered around raising funds for local student scholarships. The fundraiser also helps with Ouray’s economic and marketing development as well as various community events and the holiday celebrations such as Independence Day and New Year’s.
Tickets for the Jeep Raffle cost $5, $10, and $20 for one, three, and seven tickets, respectively. The drawing will be held this Saturday, October 7, 2017, during the Oktoberfest celebrations at the Ouray Community Center.
