Summer is still about a month away, so why not enjoy some spring painting while the colors are still brilliant and giving you all kinds of inspiration? The springtime is perfect for getting creative, and you can do so by heading over to the Sherbino Theater in Ridgway tomorrow evening!
It’s at the Sherbino Theater where you can enjoy the ARTbar: Lovebirds in Springtime painting session. Participants will be guided each step of the way as they use a 16 x 20 canvas to create an acrylic painting in an atmosphere that emphasizes fun and relaxation. The goal of the class is to inspire creativity and help people discover their imaginative side. Best of all, you don’t need any previous experience to attend and you have the option of having a drink, too!
The ARTbar: Lovebirds in Springtime class is taught by Montrose-based artist Anne Hockenberry, who specializes in watercolors. She is a self-taught artist and she has over a decade of experience in teaching. While pursuing art on a full-time basis, Hockenberry also finds time to run her Etsy shop.
