At The River’s Edge Motel Lodge & Resort, we want you to enjoy the experience to its absolute maximum, and we know that for many of you that means including your four-legged member of the family. While we would love to include your kitty or other exotic animals, our policy only allows dogs to stay with you.
With that in mind, there are a couple of things you should know. For starters, there is a fee of $13 that will be charged during your check-in if you decide to bring along a pet. While dogs are welcome in the majority of rooms, we must be made aware of them. Should you attempt to sneak your pooch into the room, we will charge you an automatic fee of $50, so it’s best to just let us know you’re bringing them along.
Your pet must not be left unattended during your stay whether they’re in the room or outdoors. You may not leave them unattended in your vehicle while you are on the premises, regardless of the time of day. If you spending time with them outdoors, they must remain on a leash at all times.
You’re free to walk your pooch along the river’s edge or in the back of the hotel. If nature calls, please make sure to pick up after them. You’ll find pick up bags near the hot tub or at the front office. Failure to pick up after your pet will result in a $25 clean up fee.
Please do not allow your pet on the bed, furniture or linens. We provide coverings but it’s up to you to be responsible. If we find pet hair on the furniture or bed you will be charged a $25 laundry and cleaning fee.
Lastly, we know accidents can happen when your pet needs to use the restroom. Please do not hesitate or be embarrassed to inform us as soon as the accident happens so we can clean up before the carpet stains. Should you fail to let us know about the accident you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.
