Those that enjoy visiting Ouray and Colorado for the skiing fun might not like the arrival of Colorado’s mud season, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun and make the most of it. Mud season typically begins towards the middle of April through the end of May, and there are several different ways you can enjoy it.
Stay warm. Feeling stressed or achy? Colorado hot springs are aplenty and they’re perfect if you’ve been punishing your body and working those ski muscles overtime.
